Hey readers,
Well, we’ve made it through another week. Why is it a short week at work always seems so much longer than an average workweek? I hope your plans for the weekend will keep you busy having fun, with some reading thrown in for good measure.
Four of my six grandchildren are in a play this weekend, The Sound of Music. I’m really looking forward to seeing it. The oldest two have acted with this youth theater company for several years, and the youngest two, just the last year. This play is the first and most likely the last time the four of them will ever act together as the oldest two will be going to NY City in August for their Freshman and Junior years of college. The youngest two will continue acting as both enjoy performing and being the center of attention.
Now, some links for your reading pleasure and a few to make you smile.

Here’s hoping you have a fantastic weekend and can sit and relax and read a little. I’m still working on two of the four books from last weekend that I wanted to finish reading, and in the meantime, I’ve started two more books—such problems in a reader’s life.
Happy reading!
On the "Dream" Link, the Library Hotel in NYC looks so very inviting and fun.. We need a hotel like that in Texas for the months of July-August when it is too hot to do nothing but stay inside a hotel and read! I Love the ideas of book reading getaways and who knew! Thanks for sharing.
