I also enjoy reading books set in libraries, about librarians, and books about writing books. It amazes me to learn of the hard work behind writing a book, how long it takes writers to write these books we love, and the research involved in writing these books - it is no easy task. I have read two of the six books you mentioned above and plan on reading the rest.
My favorites from the list above are The Lions of Fifth Avenue and The End of Your Life Book Club. The latter was a difficult read in several places. The former was so interesting because of all the references to the NY library. It is also a dual timeline historical fiction book, one of my favorite types of books to read.
What great list! I've read a few bits of Stephen King's On Writing; his insight is so helpful and thought-provoking. I'm looking forward to checking out (literally, if my local library has it!) The Storied Life of A. J. Fikry and The Man Who Loved Books Too Much! If you haven't read it already, I've heard The Diary of a Bookseller by Shaun Bythell is wonderful!
I have heard of The Diary of a Bookseller; I actually have that book, I just haven't read it yet. I was lucky and caught Stephen King's book on sale for $2.99, and I am so glad that I purchased it. I have referenced it many times and re-read portions of it. I don't like his horror books, but I definitely like On Writing. I have several more books about book, bookstores and writing that I'll write about in the coming months.
