Even though I use Instagram minimally, this is a great post for people looking for recommendations. I'll check them out myself. Love the writing and your recap of the accounts. Lots of work to put that together.👍
Awe, thank you. I had fun putting it together. In looking for Bookstagrammers to feature I visited some of my favorites and remembered why I love Bookstagram and these creators specifically. I'm hope you find a few to follow also.
What a great post! I am amongst the subset of folks who made a break from facebook many years ago fully realizing I would also be missing out on some good content but just didn't want the tradeoff. Having depended on GoodReads I must admit that many of these look fantastic. Thank you.
Thanks Mark. Believe me, I've thought about not being on FB but I don't use it for much of anything other than keeping up with family and all my bookish group. I know how to scroll on by when I don't want to read something, I wish others knew how to do that too. lol
When you have time, I wrote a longish multi-part post titled Taming Your Lizard. It begins with a premise from one of Malcolm Gladwell's books Blink. You might enjoy it. I agree with you about how strong the pull of belonging to it is for reasons like staying in touch.

I'm working my way through your prior newsletters, I'll let you know when I get to that one. I've enjoying the ones I've read so far.
I am doing the same with yours. I hope you see improvement from the early ones !
