I really love your newsletter for always introducing me to something new and interesting. I had never heard of Professional Book Nerds and now I can’t wait to check it out. Thanks as always!

I love Libby and PBN is a Libby/IOverdrive podcast. The hosts have differernt reading tastes so there's always books that I want to read when I listen. :)

Great recs, as always - thank you, Gayla!

Hmmmm, National Read in the Bathtub Day - although I love the sound of this, and although we do HAVE a tub in our bathroom, it had been installed by the previous owners of this house, and judging by its length and depth they were much, much less tall than we are! 🤣

I'll stick to my habitual reading hangouts, but will raise my cup of tea in honour of Read in the Bathtub Day.

Yeah, those old, short bathtubs are not good; especially after you've gotten used to a nice, big, luxurious one that you can relax in.

So true!!! I've had 'remodel bathroom' on my list for *coughs* YEARS.....! 🤣

Eat at Back in the Day bakery! The Grey is worth the hype. And I meant to go to Victory garage because folks said it's great. Savannah is cute

Thanks for these rec's! I'll definitely check them out.

I used to read in the bathtub all the time and it's a habit I've gotten out of. We've lived in this "new" place four years now and I've never once taken a bath here. Probably time to rectify that. And National Read in the Bathtub day is the perfect excuse. Thanks, as always, for the great links.

Thanks Lisabeth!

You are welcome, but name is Lisbeth, not Lisabeth (that was Mom's choice).

I'm so sorry Lisbeth, please accept my apology. I know that there isn't an "a" in your name, so either I messed up (likely) or autocorrect hijacked a word again. :)

No problem. I’m used to having both my first and last name misspelled (but I’m always compelled to state my actual name).

I grew up with my unusual name (southern, but I lived in Southern California and no one had heard it before) and it was pronounced and written in ways I couldn't imagine. Because of that I try SOOOO hard to make sure that I spell and speak a person's name correctly.

I understand and feel the same way, but I have also made the misspelling of someone’s name before. We are all human!

Thanks for reading, Mark!

Love it, as usual!! I'm keeping the bathtub off limits, though. However I will take a book into the sauna in honor of that special day!

Reading is my favorite thing to do if not staying in motion, I love reading, and must do so daily!

Funny, I thought everyone read in the bath - one of my favourite self-care activities.

Love Savannah! Enjoy. A walking tour, and an ice cream at Leopold’s would be on my list. Oh, and a little time on Tybee Island 😎

I agree--the best self-care activity. Thanks for the recommendations; I will definitely visit Leopolds. I've been watching the weather and my 2 sightseeing days are Friday and Sunday and as of right now, both of those days don't have rain, but Festival Saturday does. Hopefully the rain will clear from all three days so I can do a walking tour and hopefully to Tybee Island. I was there once before, but it was a cloudy, windy, cold day, so it was a quick trip.
