I am so glad the Carnegie Library post caught your attention. Putting it together was so fascinating and I was surprised how few people seemed interested/engaged!
I thought it was going to be much more straightforward than it ended up being! Yes, the Carnegie designation is pretty straightforward but the pieces about being plagued and designated as a historic landmark, not so much.
Wonderful links, per usual, Gayla. I enjoyed the BookRiot one on the dangers of dating a reader (of all the addictions to have, I’d be most sympathetic to that one!). Hope to check out the other links soon.
Tomorrow there's an indy bookstore crawl here in chicago. Sadly, I won't be able to participate this time! Next year and many days between though!
Too bad you can't participate this year--maybe next year!
We're mapping out our path for tomorrow's Indy Bookstore Crawl in Chicago. Can't wait!
Cool! I'll be out in the way western burbs so I may hit up a couple in the Fox Valley.
Awesome! Have fun out there. We're going to traverse the North Side neighborhoods and wrap up in Evanston after my daughter's soccer game.
Sounds like fun!
It's definitely going to be expensive. :-)

I've wanted to do a deep dive on it and you did it for me, and much better than I ever could have. :)

You did a great job with it!
I'll be visiting my local indie bookstore!
Have a great day!

Thanks for reading, Ruth. You are always so kind. :)
