OMG my kids call it "mom wants to visit the historic town square." Nothing better. Grapevine AND Fredericksburg are on my holiday agenda this year. :o)
Gayla thank you so much, not only for sharing my Substack post but for your Patreon support and kind words! I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying our content there. Love the audiobook narrator link thanks for sharing that
I'll be going through each one of these links with joy and gratitude. I can't seem to stay caught up with you, haha. I love this newsletter. Thank you of such great information. I feel the work you put into it. (Luckily I have no children or grands to buy for— I'm having enough problems finding something special for my husband and a few close friends!)
So much wonderful content, Gayla. I was just thinking about what I can do to spread the joy of reading and there your link appeared. I definitely will reach out to one of those wonderful organisations and volunteer. 🤗🤗
Rosamond’s newsletter is good! Thank you for the introduction!
You're welcome.
Great newsletter as always.
Thanks for reading!
Thank you for these links, must take so much time to collect all of them!
I come across most of the links in the things I read every day. Needless to say, I get a lot of bookish email. :)
Yay. Got this one!!! Great newsletter!

I'm sure I didn't appreciate doing this kind of sightseeing when I was a kid, but I sure do love it now. :)

Happy to share!
My teenage grands just want $$$ I oblige but also try to find some small actual gifts as well. The preschool grands are the easiest!
I agree, when mine were preschool, they were the easiest to buy for.

That great! I'm sure they'd love more volunteers.
That cat article is a crack up!! I have two of my own and now I'm imagining all the adventures...
Wouldn't it be fun to travel with a cat that was adventurous!
