As I more often listen than read books these days, it will help me wade through the many choices out there. Thanks also for the reminder of Book festivals. The LA Times has one coming up that I think I'll try to attend.
I would love to go to the LA Times book festival at some point. Maybe I can make it work in the next year or two. I read a lot of YA books and there is a YA festival in Santa Monica called Yallfest that I'd love to go to also. I have to sample an audiobook before I buy it as I'm so picky about the narrator. No I haven't and it's not because I haven't wanted to; I keep finding other things to watch and forgetting about it. I'm going to have to make a TBW (to be watched) list so I don't keep forgetting about shows I want to watch. Thanks for putting it back on my radar.

You are correct, there are several and in the past, I've been buried in taxes so I haven't been able to go. This year, I'm making sure that I get to a few of them throughout the year.
I love the variety and interesting stories that you link us to. I have been out of the loop for a few weeks so have not been keeping up on the substacks that I myself subscribe to. Hopefully I will be back to my normal routines soon and catch up. I especially enjoy your newsletter.
