Thanks Carol. I haven't had a cold since Covid started, but I can't remember a past cold knocking me on my butt like this one did. Thanks for reading.

Hope you're feeling better. As for those poor librarians -- babysitters and typing out resumes? Oy vey! I would have zero patience for that. Looking forward to the tips about more library cards!

Thanks for reading Michael. Yes, I had no idea that some of those things happened at libraries. I've always thought I wanted to work at a library, maybe volunteer some after I retire, but as with all things, you come to realize that the grass is greener on the other side. :)

I receive two subscription boxes. The first one I subscribed to is The Wordy Traveller. It is quarterly, there is a book and a couple other little things, focused on a certain place in the world, the latest being Ireland. The subscription choices are fiction or nonfiction and how many books you receive (one, two, or three). I have enjoyed it and have renewed my subscription. After really enjoying that one I wanted to try another one, with monthly boxes, so I now subscribe to Sweet Reads. It is Canadian (I live in Canada) and I have been very happy with it as well. Monthly book plus a few other little goodies. A happy gift-to-self every time the boxes arrive. I tried a three month subscription, liked it so much I have moved to an annual subscription (there is a cost savings to do so). Both companies also offer limited timed themed boxes, as extra purchasing options. I really liked all the ones I have purchased, ex coffeelovers, tealovers, Christmas, Women helping women. I didn’t think I necessarily wanted all the little extras, really just liked the idea of receiving book mail, but I do really like the little gifts, little pick me ups.

Thanks for reading and commenting. The Sweet Reads Box sounds like it's so fun. I checked and they don't have a US option. It's so much fun to treat yourself to a gift, I just love it. I currently subscribe to Once Upon a Book Club and I've enjoyed that one over the last couple of years. I don't buy the box every month as I read a lot of ARC's, but the company will tell you the book if you email them to ask. That way I'm not wasting money on duplicates. I'm excited to try a few others during next year.
