Hi, Gayla. Yes, Independent Bookstore Day is big here in Denver. Tattered Cover is one of the biggest independent bookstore chains in the nation, rivaling that of Powell Books in Portland. So I will be enjoying the celebration there.
I love this - and it basically makes me want to go on an Indie Bookstore Road Trip (anyone?!) just to visit these places. I'm currently planning a Nashville road trip with my daughters partly just to visit Parnassus Books.
