Happy New Year, Gayla! I love bookmarks and pick them up whenever we travel. A book tracker sounds like a good idea too!

Happy New Year, Ruth! I started collecting postcards from places I travel to several years ago, and then since I retired, I've been collecting bookmarks also. I've got quite a collection so far, and both are a lot easier to store than "nicknacks."

Love book carts so much! I have three teal ones just like the one in your picture from Michaels :-)

I have one of those carts (same teal blue) but I use it for cleaning supplies in my closet. Now I think I need another one for books. And cute book accessories!

Great post with lots of fun book accessories! Can I ask, do you use a book cart instead of bookshelves? If I have lots of bookshelves in my home, what would be the usefulness of a book cart? Thoughts?

Expand full comment

I don't have any bookshelves, but if I did, I would think that a cart might not be as useful. I know people use it to keep books they want to read soon and journals and supplies if they journal. I don't read a lot of physical books, but on my carts I keep the books I want to read sooner rather than later. I also keep all my stickers and postcards and bookmarks that I'm collecting as I travel.
