As always a great and interesting newsletter. I love the Bookish Destinations in England - What a great trip that would be. Maybe you and a friend could do this-just a thought!

Book Riot article - I too have been waiting for the Frisco Library to open and can't wait. I did enjoy the window seats on the 4th floor at the previous location but like you, look forward to this weekends opening to see the new space!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

It definitely sounds fun and a trip with a friend sounds even better.

I had high hopes of going to the Frisco library grand opening yesterday, but the traffic was horrible and there were way too many people for my tastes. I'm planning on going one day after work this week. I agree about the 4th floor seating in the old library. I hope they have some comfy, cozy seating available in the new one.

Thanks for reading, I appreciate you.

Fun and offbeat. The bowling link was worthwhile as it ended with a post-modern bowling classic!

So grateful for your entertaining links, Gayla, particularly the excerpt from Alex Prud’homme’s Dinner With the President, which I now really want to read.

I want to read it also, it's on hold through Libby. I have so many books I'm working through for reviews and author spotlights, it may take me a while to get to it. I'd love to hear what you think about it if you read it.

You made my day with that link to New England bookish destinations. My next trip home will include a few of these stops. I wonder why I never paid attention when I lived there?

That sounds like fun! I've discovered things around me that I never knew were here. I guess it's because we aren't looking for them. :)
