No time like the present. I think I am going to go to the library and see if I can find these authors. If the first couple of pages grab me you will have successfully gotten me to try another genre. I am sure i will be happy I did.

I keep bringing McManus books home from the library—they have such striking covers and I do love twisty mystery/thrillers—but then I keep not getting to them?! This inspired me to bump The Cousins up my pile & hopefully I'll actually get to it this weekend. Thanks for the nudge!
